We accept quilts all year long, once our closet is full we plan a project and take your deliveries to support the warm and comfort of children and families in need. Thank you to all our great quilters

Pakistan- working with the Marshall Direct Fund whose mission is to foster a more peaceful world through education in poor and conflict-stricken parts of the world, a perfect fit for our projects!
Cambodia - The SHE Rescue Home currently has 22 girls in the home in Phnom Penh, plus 2 babies." Given the nature and sensitivity of the girls cases we will be hosted at the Visitor Center and then the quilts will be delivered to the secured homes. --"In Cambodia, the SHE Rescue Home exists as a safe-haven for girls normally aged 5 to 16 who have been trafficked, raped, prostituted or at-risk of any of these. There are complex issues that contribute to a girl's vulnerability to trafficking. Factors such as poverty, abuse, trickery or deception and unemployment or addiction in the family unit."
Costa Rica - working with the BriBri Tribes delivering quilts direct to the homes of children and families in need.
Colombia- Fundacion Construyendo Suenos, Bogota, Colombia-working with the Muskoka foundation we visited an elder home and school.
Paragachi, Ecuador- working with Entre las Estrellas (Among the Stars) is located in the Chota valley north of Quito, a dusty small town where poverty is very high.
Malawi, Africa- Hand made quilts will be donated to Partners in Hope for the new In-Patient Ward in Malawi, Africa. ( www.partnersinmalawi.org ) A non-profit Organization seeking to promote awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Malawi and help Dr. Perry Jansen’s medical work with the epidemic and the Partners in Hope Medical Center he founded in 2001. We are very excited to provide quilts to the new unit and help comfort and ease the pain of the hospitals “sickest of the sick.” We will be hand delivering the donated quilts directly to them in Malawi.
Haiti -Hand made quilts will be donated to Haiti to help rebuild the lives of many in need, we are going to help provide the bedding to families as new homes are built and lives resurrected. We are accepting donations constantly and as we we get families that need us and full boxes of quilts we will be off and running to get to them as quick as possible! Thank you for your support. DAY of PEACE- Individualized quilt donated to the International Day of Peace parade and celebration in Ajo, AZ to support the idea of peace and hope worldwide. (This specific quilt was designed and constructed by quilt artist, Kristina Green). Threading hope was honored in displaying this quilt in their annual parade 2008, 2009 and 2010- as the lead of the parade.
→Personalized quilt made for Nathaniel “Nata” Ortiz Rodriguez of El Salvador. Nata is an 11 year old burn victim that has been brought to the United States to receive reconstructive surgery to help correct the damage an oven fire caused when 85% of his body was burned. This quilt was given to him upon arrival in Texas and helped him through his hospital stays and went home to El Salvador with him. (This quilt was designed and constructed by Kristina Green)
